Life West

"Life West has the best teachers, the best student clinic, and the most techniques to learn. The financial aid department is extremely helpful and it's very easy to get financial aid. I have nothing but great things to say about Life West and would recommend this school to any prospective student."

Life West : Mission Statement
Life Chiropractic College West exists solely for the betterment of humankind. The community of interest to which the College has been dedicated includes its students, faculty, employees, administrators, trustees, the health care consumer, the chiropractic profession, and the health care community at large.
The roots of the College lie within the traditional chiropractic teachings of the Palmers. It is from this direction and viewpoint that Dr. George Anderson was imbued with the desire to establish a chiropractic college in Northern California. It was also from these roots that Dr. Sid E. Williams emerged with a vision of service to humankind through chiropractic.
Life West is a hybrid, gathering tradition and strength from its historic roots in the Palmers, and vision and purpose from its new roots with Dr. Williams and the Life Movement. One theme emerges, resurfaces, and re-expresses itself consistently throughout our institution; that theme is purposeful service. Dr. Williams expressed the essence of a successful person’s life as being dedicated and devoted to a Lasting Purpose: To love, To do, To give, and To serve, Out of abundance.
It is this overriding presence of Lasting Purpose that constitutes the mission of Life Chiropractic College West. Each segment of our community attempts to live the greatness embodied within the concept of Lasting Purpose. It is this quality, and this quality alone, that establishes our directions, our goals, and our objectives in dealing with our fellow human beings.
This commitment to service causes every element within our purview to be tested, challenged, refined, and improved until it becomes the ultimate manifestation of those involved.
Our mission as an institution of higher education offering the Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree is to advance traditional chiropractic viewpoints through professional education, postgraduate education, research and scholarly activity in a climate of service, of love, and giving for the sole reason that it is right and proper.
