The Research Department has recently completed a sponsored research project with Alara Inc. of Fremont CA, which is a manufacturer of radiographic medical imaging devices. The sponsored research project was conducted by the Imaging Department of Life West with Dr. Alexandra Weibel as the Principal Investigator. She worked closely with technical scientists of Alara and with the Research Department of Life West. This project supports Alara’s application for FDA clearance of a computed radiography system.
