Receptions
The Life West Alumni Association hosts luncheons and receptions for our
graduates at various state and regional conventions. It is an opportunity
for you to catch up with fellow Life West alumni and hear about the latest
development on campus. If we are not scheduled to host an event and you
would like to get together with other Life West graduates in your area
of the country, please contact us at alumni@lifewest.edu
and we will be happy to help you organize an event.
Associate
Positions and Practices for Sale
The college is happy to assist alumni by providing a national and international
listing of available associate positions and practices for sale. This
list is compiled and updated by the Department of Student Services.
Health
Center Services
All alumni are entitled to selected Health Center services such as a complimentary
consultation with a clinic laboratory consultant; an X-ray consultation;
labs, exams, and X-ray services provided at cost; and free adjustments.

Continuing
Education Seminar Discounts
All alumni are eligible for a 20% discount on some Continuing Education
Programs sponsored solely by LCCW (not cosponsored with anyone or a part
of any other program). You need to request the discount in advance when
you register for the program.
Golf
Classic
Held at the end of April / beginning of May, the Life West Golf Classic
is northern California's largest chiropractic golf tournament. The annual
fun- and fund-raiser is held to support The Life Chiropractic College
West Building Fund. Even if you are not a golfer you can still participate
by sponsoring a student golfer or attending the dinner and raffle.
Insurance: Automobile
GEICO Auto Insurance has been saving money for drivers for over 60 year, and now GEICO is making the GEICO Preferred Program available to Life Chiropractic College West. Life West alumni may be eligible for discounts of 6% to 20% (depending on the state) off GEICO's already low rates. (California currently enjoys the highest discount.) Several group term life and health insurance plans have been arranged
for Life West alumni and their family members through the Alumni

Library
Services
All Life West alumni receive free
reference service. All new graduates have free borrowing privileges, excepting reserve materials, for 5 years after graduation. After that, annual membership fees for borrowing privileges are $70.
Although you might not live near Hayward, the library staff can still
help you find research material you need, conduct interlibrary loans,
and search on-line databases for you. Go to the library's Alumni Services page or contact library@lifewest.edu

Practice
Referrals
When you provide the Alumni Affairs Office with your practice address,
we will share your practice name and number with alumni doctors who need
to refer patients to someone in your zip code area. If you would like
to refer a patient who is moving away to another Life West graduate, please
e-mail us alumni@lifewest.edu
or give us a call at (510) 780-4500 ext. 2420. We will be happy to provide
you with this information!
Publications
Alumni
Alert: Published on an as needed basis, this brief flyer lets you
know what is new with Life West and the Alumni Association and includes
any other information we think may be of use to our alumni.
Class
Agent Letters: Sent once or twice a year, the class agent letters
are a way for you and your fellow classmates to keep in touch. Most
classes have a class agent who was selected right before graduation
who is responsible for collecting your information and sending your
letters. To find out the name or address of your class agent or to volunteer
to be the class agent (if your class does not have one,) please contact
the Alumni Office at alumni@lifewest.edu.
LifeStyles:
A quarterly newsletter for alumni and friends of Life West featuring
news about the college and our alumni. Do you have news you would like
us to share with other Life West alumni? We would like to include your
professional or personal successes in a future "Alumni Notes"
column: awards, achievements, professional advancement, marriages, births.

Spring
for Life & SPA Day
You, your family, and your staff are always invited to join us back on
campus for the fun, inspiration, and fellowship these two days bring!
Spring for Life is usually held on the morning of the second Thursday
of May, followed by the Student Council picnic. SPA Day is part of the
Festival activities and is held on the third Thursday of the Fall quarter
at the end of October. To suggest speakers or register for an upcoming
