If you have received an award letter from us, please follow the steps below in order to select your Stafford loan lender and e-sign your master promissory note.  The lenders in the Stafford FASTChoice website been selected because of superior customer service and outstanding savings; however, you may choose a different lender.  We recommend that you chose your lender wisely. 

In selecting these lenders the college looked at the following criteria:  quality of customer service, extent of debt management tools offered, type of borrower benefits, availability of life of loan servicing and market stability.  The preceding information was requested from a variety of lenders and scored on a scale of 1-5, followed by a final review by the Financial Aid Director, the Financial Aid Associate Director and the Executive Vice President.  Subsequently, the top three lenders have been listed on our 0809 federal lender list.

• Please review the lender information carefully before selecting your lender. Lender benefits can change without notice and therefore we encourage you to contact the lender and discuss the benefits offered.

• You have the right to select a lender that is not listed in LCCW’s Stafford FASTChoice website (use the provided link).

• If you need assistance in making a decision, more information on lender selection can be found at www.finaid.org or contact the financial aid office.

Once you have made your lender selection, you will have an opportunity to e-sign your master promissory note. If for some reason you are not able to initiate this step, a paper promissory note will be mailed to you at a later day by the guarantor of the student loan.
