Q. When applying for financial aid, do I need to include my parent's income and assets?
A. You need to provide only your income (and your spouse, if applicable). Chiropractic students at Life West are considered independent since they are enrolled in a graduate/professional degree granting program.

Q. I have been working the past year, will that affect my eligibility?
A. That is not a problem as the federal loans are available to students of all income and asset levels.

Q. What is the tuition cost and can I also borrow for living expenses?
A. As of fall 2009, tuition is $6,385 for full time student and Yes, our student budget includes tuition, books, and a standard average for living expenses.

Q. What is the earning potential of a chiropractor?
A. Information on the salary of chiropractors can be viewed at the Bureau of Labor's website (www.bls.gov) or from the Chiropractic Economics magazine's recent survey (chiroeco.com)

Q. How does the student loan debt level at Life West compare to that at other chiropractic colleges?
A. Students at LCCW graduate owing less student loan monies than the national average for chiropractic students.
