Biography: I was born in a small town in South Dakota where I lived and was educated through the first year and a half of college.  From there I moved to California at age twenty and began working for what was then known as Pacific Telephone and Telegraph.  At age 22 I joined the United States Air Force where I served for just over four years with overseas postings in Turkey and Japan.  Upon discharge, I returned to California and completed my undergraduate degree at San Francisco State College (now named California State University at San Francisco).

After working a couple of more years I decided to attend Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles from which I graduated in May 1977.  I started my practice in Carmel, California and remained there for eight years.  During that time I co-founded the Monterey Bay Gonstead Clinical Studies Society.  I was also one of the first board members for the international GCSS where I served for fourteen years and was president of that group for two years.  Needless to say, my technique specialty is Gonstead and I have practiced that technique for all of my chiropractic life.  I am a Diplomate and a Fellow of Gonstead as well.  Over the last several years I have been implementing an active rehabilitation program into my practice to assist patients in maintaining their adjustments.

I have taught Gonstead workshops and seminars in the past and always enjoyed the experience of passing on knowledge and skills to students and practicing doctors as well.  When I first became aware of the opportunity to be a Practice Advisor at Life Chiropractic College I was highly motivated to secure a position.  I have found over the last thirty or so years that I truly do enjoy teaching and from the feedback I have been given by those whom I have taught I guess I have some facility for it.  I look forward with genuine anticipation to assisting those interns entrusted to my guidance in becoming the best chiropractic adjusters that they wish to be.
