Audiovisuals

Collections of x-ray film cases are available from Life West's health center, and from selected sections of The American College of Radiology Institute's teaching file.

The videodisc version of the ACRI teaching file, as well as most radiology and imaging software programs, can be studied on the Imaging computers in the media viewing area. Some programs are fully installed, and others require borrowing the CD-ROM at the circulation desk.  Refer to list of instructional software for imaging.

Life West faculty have recorded review sessions on videotape, notably the multi-volume sets Rad 3, Radiology 2, and X-ray physics by Dr. James Carter; and Radiographic technique by Dr. Deborah Cherachanko.  Use the library catalog to read complete descriptions.
