Location
- To get to campus, see Directions
and public transit information. The Learning Resource Center
is close to the academic entrance to the college on the Clawiter Street
side of the property. It is the first door on the right. Visitors entering
the campus through the Health Center can follow the main hallway to the
last door on the left. For an introduction to the facility, start with
the visitors’ guide.
Facility
- The learning resource center encompasses the library's book, audiovisual,
imaging, and journal collections. This spacious facility has seven study
rooms with large windows. It houses reference and study areas, audiovisual
production and viewing areas, a computer laboratory, and an imaging laboratory.
Visitors are welcome to browse, watch videos, and to use the reference
workstations. The laboratories are reserved for Life West students.
The self-service
copiers accept "copycards” sold at the bookstore, as well
as coins and bills. In order to add value to the “copycards”,
use the vend units attached to the copiers.
Staff
- Reference librarians, the computer educator, and audiovisual technicians
are available weekdays. The computer lab is staffed during evenings and
weekends as well.
