How to use the List of Instructional Software:

In the categorized list below, each software title links to a full description in the online catalog.

For each title, the online catalog has a "Notes" area with information about using the sofware:

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS -  This note indicates compatibility with Windows and/or Macintosh, as well as other minimum requirements.

AVAILABILITY - This note indicates where and how the instructional software program can be used.  Selected software titles are available on named computers in the computer lab and elsewhere.

Some programs run automatically upon insertion of the disc, while other programs require installation of set-up files.

Here are the names of the student-access computers:

  • LAB 1-27 in computer lab.

  • REF 1-4 in reference area.

  • IMAGING 1-2 in media viewing cubicles.

  • HC1-3 at Health Center.

Wall signs above each computer list which titles are available on each machine.  If the sign indicates "CD required" and gives the call number, then the disc has to be checked out from the circulation desk.  Some programs are fully installed.
