LIFE WEST STUDENT EARNS SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
HAYWARD, Calif., March 6, 2003

Life Chiropractic College West student Ryan Bosley recently received the college's quarterly Michael Beddoe Memorial Scholarship. Bosley earned the $500 scholarship for his grade-point average and his volunteer work with the college and its community.

A graduate of Ogden High School, Bosley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bosley of Ogden, UT. Before entering Life West, he attended Weber State University and New College of California. Along with his chiropractic studies and clinical training, Bosley is currently serving his second term as Student Council president. In addition, he is an active member of Life West's Community Outreach Club.

To honor and memorialize the giving spirit and dedicated nature of their brother late brother (and Life West alum), Kathy and Barry Fiedel created the Michael Beddoe Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was created in 1996, a year after Dr. Beddoe's death, to encourage the commitment to excellence in the chiropractic profession that their brother personified. The scholarship will always be awarded to a Life West student who exemplifies the level of diligence and commitment that Michael attained on a daily basis.
