LIFE WEST HELPS NEEDY KIDS PREPARE FOR BACK TO SCHOOL

August 27, 2005: Life West joined the Family Emergency Shelter Coalition Organization to collect back packs and school supplies for needy kids. The shelter is one of only two in the area that takes in whole families together—including fathers and teenage boys.  Seventy-five brand new back packs of all sizes and shapes, fifty pounds of school supplies and nearly $1000 in cash were donated by LCCW students, faculty and staff. Life West students helped distribute and fit the backpacks to every child.
